FILM INN: Story Editing Workshop and Masterclass at IFF ELBE DOCK (CZ)
The story editing workshop is designed for 6 emerging V4 screenwriters in the field of short film production. It will take place in the framework of the ELBE DOCK IFF. Projects will be submitted in advance via Open Call. The mentor of Story Editing Workshop will, together with the festival programmers, select 6 projects. Selected screenwriters will go through an intensive 3-day workshop. The result will be a revised draft script that elaborates on the themes and individual characters of the selected projects. In addition to this workshop, there will be a Masterclass that will focus on the use of artificial intelligence and screenwriting. FILM INN Workshops for V4 emerging filmmakers are free of charge. The workshop has 3 phases. The first phase takes place before the start of the workshop, when the students prepare the materials (not only the script, but also the themes, character breakdown, etc.) according to the mentor’s assignment. The second phase takes place in person at the ELBE DOCK IFF festival. The third phase of the project takes place after the workshop, in the form of online individual consultations with the mentor. Project supervisor will guide the students in all phases, from the first communication to the ongoing workshop at ZUBROFFKA International Short Film Festival in Bialystok, Poland.
