OPEN CALL: FILM INN WORKSHOPS
LET YOUR SHORT FILM GLOW
ELBE DOCK International Film Festival focuses on filmmakers from Central Europe and Scandinavia, which will be awarded in the best short film sections. The prestigious Pavel Koutecký Award is closely linked to the festival - this is the award for the best Czech documentary debut (first and second films) in both the short and feature film categories.
ELBE DOCK is organising the 2nd edition of FILM INN WORKSHOPS for filmmakers from V4 countries (Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia). Intensive workshop sessions for producers and screenwriters set during film festivals in Ústí nad Labem, Czechia (ELBE DOCK, September 4-6, 2024) and Białystok, Poland (ŻUBROFFKA International Short Film Festival, December 5-6, 2024).
Both of the workshops are free of charge and the ELBE DOCK covers participants’ accommodation and travel costs.
FILM INN offers professionally led workshops for screenwriters and producers of short fiction and hybrid formats from the V4 countries. Selected projects from the first part of the workshop during ELBE DOCK will take part in the follow-up workshop at ŻUBROFFKA. Both workshop units will explore the topics and landscape of short film production focusing on the script development, festival strategies, sales and usage of AI in storytelling and film marketing.
