What films await you? Take a look at the teasers!

For the European BOO, we have selected a 40 of the best short films from countries across whole Europe. We have taken great care to ensure that our selection is as diverse as possible. As a result, you can look forward to professional films as well as exceptional student works–some of which have resonated at major international festivals, while others are our fresh discoveries from places where bold short films are being made.

The Czech-German BOO competition section offers a selection of 18 of the best contemporary short films from both countries. You can look forward to a wide range of films – from documentaries and animated films to unconventional film experiments and perhaps even some bizarre ones.

In the 12+BOO and 15+BOO competitions, we have selected the best short films that have much to say to today's teenagers. Unconventional formats and themes of adolescence, self-discovery, or life in a world determined by the social media.

We haven't forgotten older viewers either. For them, we have prepared the BOO for the Elder and Wiser, in which they themselves decide which film resonated with them the most and deserves a festival award.
