What happens if something goes wrong? – Work Hard, Fail Hard

What happens when something goes wrong? And what if it goes really, really wrong? You’ll get a vivid demonstration on Friday, November 6, at 9:30 p.m. at Kino Kavalírka, where prominent figures from the European audiovisual scene will share their professional missteps and moments when they felt like giving up all during an entertaining evening full of failures from which we can (hopefully) learn.

Each speaker will have ten minutes to share their story of failure and, above all, what they took away from it. Because even a seemingly catastrophic situation can ultimately be a valuable experience. The evening will offer a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes side of the film industry and remind us that failure doesn’t have to mean the end of the world.

Sharing their stories will be producer Dagmar Sedláčková, producer Jan Kallista, artistic director of the Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Youth and ECFA president Pantelis Panteloglou, director of the Tampere Film Festival Jukka-Pekka Laakso, producer and creative director Michal Deus, and Krzysztof Sienkiewicz, organizer and curator of the ŻUBROFFKA Festival.

Stand-up comedian Tereza Bonaventurová will host the evening.
