A Pain in the Butt

It’s winter. Snow is falling. The hedgehog is just about to go into hibernation when he notices that one of his spines is missing. To his surprise, it has ended up stuck in the doggy’s bottom, of all places. Getting it back won't be easy... A charming animated short about one very precarious situation.

After finishing her studies in design at the Moscow State University of Printing Arts in 2004, Elena Walf started to work as an illustrator. In the following years she illustrated for many kids’ magazines and several children’s books for publishing houses in Russia, Germany, Taiwan and South Korea. In 2015 she graduated at the renowned Institute of Animation, Visual Effects and Digital Postproduction at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Since then she works as a director, animator and designer based in Stuttgart.
