Quiet and introverted Gregor lives with his mother Hermína in a small village in northern Slovakia. One day, his cousin Jano knocks on their door with an offer of a job in Hungary and, more importantly, the intention to mend irreparably damaged family relationships.

Kristián Grupač is a recent graduate of film directing at FTF VŠMU. He regularly participates in film festivals both at home and abroad with his student films. In his work, he is interested in auteur approach and primarily explores topics closely related to his Kysuce region origin. After finishing school, he plans to focus on his debut project and have at least 15 chickens.
