Bad Ideas

A musical page-turner losing her job. The evolution of a technology. An inner ambition. Pianists playing with their head. A group of gangsters. A refreshingly original comedic gem from Jan Bujnowski poses an important question: Is there any connection between sunglasses, high school friends and nicknames? And could it have something to do with sombreros?

Jan Bujnowski is a graduate of directing at The Polish National Film, Television and Theater School in Łódź, and is currently also a doctoral student and lecturer there. Previously, he studied journalism and art history at the University of Warsaw. His short films The Devil and Dancing In The Corner have been screened at over 80 festivals around the world (including Semaine de la Critique Cannes, Clermont-Ferrand, Oberhausen, ZINEBI, Hong Kong IFF, Les Arcs, Curtas Vila do Conde, and Vienna Shorts).
