Eight-year-old Majda is afraid of the dark, and even though she is at summer camp with her older sister, whose presence calms her, she feels lost. When Majda wanders into the woods at dusk, she must find her way back so she can be with the only person who makes her feel safe. Will she find the courage to overcome her fear?
Darja Miková is a screenwriter, director, and dramaturge. She is currently completing her master's degree in screenwriting and dramaturgy at FAMU. She focuses on topics related to intimacy, adolescence, and the representation of female heroes in audiovisual media. She is the co-author of the series No Big Deal (2024), a dramedy produced by Czech Television and directed by Jan Vejnar, which won an award in the Prix d'Italia competition in the Digital Fiction category and was nominated for the Czech Film Critics' Award and the Czech Lion Award. She has also collaborated on short student films, such as The Animal Remains (2025) by Slovenian director Ivana Vogrinc Vidali.
