After the fall of communism in 1989, color TVs were no longer a luxury good in Poland. The screens in many Polish homes are beginning to look more like the reality outside the window. But is reality truly colorful?
A graduate of the National Film School, Television and Theatre in Łódź, Jan Bujnowski is currently pursuing his doctorate and serving as a lecturer at the same institution. Prior to this, he studied journalism and Art History at the University of Warsaw. His latest short film, Tea time with Diabeł, received a special mention from the jury at the Clermont-Ferrand Festival 2023; it has been screened at over 60 festivals worldwide, including the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival and ZINEBI.
