A young couple spends a day in the countryside, hoping for a quiet escape from everyday life. Instead, suppressed tensions begin to surface as Eva and Lee struggle to communicate about power, responsibility, and their expectations of one another. Over the course of a single day, what was meant to be a peaceful retreat gradually exposes the fragile dynamics of their relationship.

Vida Skerk is an award-winning director based between London and Zagreb. Her short film Night Ride was featured at the BFI London and the Premiers Plans in Angers, where it won the Student Jury Award. Her films blend eerie surrealism with emotional depth, often exploring themes of identity, belonging, and romance. Born and raised in Trieste, she is Slovenian, Croatian, and Italian.
