Fireworks
Summer vacations, campsites and the sea. As he does every year, Jean, a fireworks expert, takes his two daughters Julie, 8, and Manon, 14, with him in his camper van to take part in his pyrotechnic shows. Normally, they don't mind, but this summer things are different: Manon is looking forward to her first romance.
After completing a degree in the performing arts at Paris 8, Kahina Le Querrec joined Claude Lelouch’s Ateliers du Cinéma. There she directed L'Heure bleue and Contre la nuit, produced by G.R.E.C. In 2022, she directed Les Artifices, produced by Amethyste Films and selected in Brest, before entering the screenplay workshop at La Fémis. Since then, she has been developing her first feature film, La Faille, co-written with Maïté Sonnet, winner of the CNC writing grant and co-writer for directors such as Cédric Kahn.
