First Patrol

A routine day for two small-town policemen Pavel (22) and Michal (50) is turned upside down when they become the first patrol to arrive at the scene of an exceptionally violent crime at a restaurant with hostages still inside. Despite being professionals, the two colleagues are afraid, disagree with each other and make mistakes. This police drama captures the first-hand experience with a mass shooting through the very first responders’ eyes.

Vojtěch Konečný is a graduate of the MA and BA Film Directing course at FAMU in Prague. He graduated from University of the Arts London, BA (Hons) Film and TV course, where he focused on directing and screenwriting. Vojtěch is the creator of several short films and commercials, which he directed, wrote, and edited. Vojtěch’s feature debut in development Now and After participated in the workshops MIDPOINT Focus CZ 2025 and My First Script at Zagreb FF and took part in pitching forums Heart of Europe 2025 and SFPitch 2025 both in Warsaw.
