The supermarket is nearing its closing time, and the last customers are queuing for their turn at the fish counter. The agonizing wait offers a chance for existential reflection and a little song.

The film won the Finnish film industry's Jussi Award 2025 for best short film and participated in, the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival 2025, the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival 2024, or the Odense International Film Festival 2025.

Veera Lamminpää (b.1994) is a director, screenwriter and animator based in Helsinki, Finland. Her filmography includes multiple short films, television work, and commercial film productions. While not working, she spends most of her time gardening or in the sauna.
