Resistance and Exile is about the youth of Lisa Fittko, a female anti-fascist activist and writer. The narrative explores the effects of the decisions one makes on one’s understanding of identity and belonging. Set in early 20th century Europe, this hybrid archive and re-enacted film depicts Lisa’s resistance against Nazis and escape into exile.
Allegra Stodolsky (1995) was born in Finland. She lived in Helsinki and then in Berlin, Edinburgh, and Prague, where she is currently studying at FAMU. In 2017, she completed her studies in English literature and film theory in Edinburgh and founded her own production company. As an assistant director, she has participated in dozens of student and professional productions.
