Flowers from Another Garden

Flesh-coloured paints, elaborate masks, artificial flowers, colourful costumes. A group of queer activists from the north of Columbia uses an extravagant performative event as a form of protest against destructive mining in the biggest coal mine in the country. Radical resistance is followed by a heady party and, in its turn, the wild party is followed by fear and violence. But the determination to speak for the common people and access to potable water remains the same.
