Mak, a young man working his night shift at a gas station, encounters Nada, a female truck driver. They bond over their shared Macedonian roots and find comfort in each other, as they attempt to escape their individual loneliness.

The film participated in the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival 2024, the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival 2025, or the Go Short - International Short Film Festival Nijmegen 2025.

 

Jan Krevatin (1999) is an MA Film & TV directing student at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb, Croatia. His short films have been screened in competition programmes of important international film festivals, for instance PÖFF Shorts (Tallinn), Go Short (Nijmegen) and Cinemed (Montpellier). For his short film JOŽA, he is the recipient of The Jelena Rajković Award for Best Director Under 30 at the 32. Days of Croatian Film.
