Hugs

During an ordinary bike ride, a cyclist spots a couple embracing and lets his imagination run wild. What follows is a playful parade of hugs and touches in all shapes and forms – tender, comforting, passionate and absurd. A wordless animated short about closeness and the many ways a simple embrace can bring people together.

Nicolas Fong (1982) is an animator, director and visual artist based in Brussels. After studying graphic design in Paris, he graduated in animation from La Cambre and has worked for more than twenty years on short films, animated features and television series.
