Lost in Galactic Translation

A lonely scientist, after years of fruitless research, finally makes contact with an extraterrestrial civilization and waits with growing excitement for their arrival on Earth. In his imagination, he envisions the moment of their encounter — convinced that the visitors will offer him a chance to leave his old life behind and join their crew on a journey across the galaxy.

The film participated in the Trash Film Festival 2025 and the Couch Film Festival 2025 and had its Czech premiere on BOO 2025.

Rasmus Lindkvist is a creative photographer, musician, and filmmaker from southern Dalecarlia with a passion for technology and culture. He has plenty of experience in production work and various types of events related to photography, film, and music.
