Ella Knorz, born 2000 in Heidelberg, Germany, is pursuing filmmaking and other artistic forms since the age of ten. She studied philosophy and literature in Berlin and continued her directing studies at the University of Television and Film Munich in 2020. She was part of the European Youth Jury at the 77th Venice Film Festival and presented her work at various international film festivals. Ella also works as a photographer for high end arthouse productions with filmmakers like Ilker Çatak (The Teacher's Lounge) and Edgar Reitz (Heimat).
