It’s a beautiful spring day, and new life is emerging in the henhouse. But then the doggy finds an egg in his bowl. He knows it needs the warmth of a mother hen if the little one inside is ever going to hatch. Worried, he sets off to find help... But every hen is already busy caring for her own brood. So who will look after the lonely egg?

After finishing her studies in design at the Moscow State University of Printing Arts in 2004, Elena Walf started to work as an illustrator. In the following years she illustrated for many kids’ magazines and several children’s books for publishing houses in Russia, Germany, Taiwan and South Korea. In 2015 she graduated at the renowned Institute of Animation, Visual Effects and Digital Postproduction at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Since then she works as a director, animator and designer based in Stuttgart.
