Raja

Darkness haunts the young girl, Raja. Overwhelmed by the weight of her shadows, she collapses. A light appears and her journey begins. In search for the end, Raja stumbles through a wondrous in-between world. There, she finds something she thought she had lost forever.

The film participated in the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film 2024 or the International Film Festival - Curtas Vila do Conde 2024, and is having its Czech premiere.

Franziska von Holst and Louisa Würden are filmmakers specializing in stop motion animation. Having grown up in the Rhine-Main area, their paths crossed during their studies at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences. Since then they have been working as a duo and collaborating on projects. They have spent the last six years creating Raja, their debut film in puppet animation style.
