The Day I Licked a Pebble

One summer afternoon in the countryside, three siblings, bored at their grandmother’s house, set off for the bakery to buy some snacks. The path leads through the forest, where a supernatural danger may be lurking… or maybe not? A nostalgic animated film that playfully explores the aesthetics of found footage.

Flavie Eliézer, Chloé Bernuchon, Goli Atefi, Maud Kolasa, Nathan Jauze, and Marie Pijollet are classmates at MoPA, a 3D animation school in Arles. The Day I Licked a Pebble is their graduation film, which has been screened at numerous international film festivals and was selected as a finalist for the BAFTA Student Awards.
