Scamming seniors can take on many forms, from selling pots to closing disadvantageous contracts to shameless rip-offs. In the 1990s, when Poland, torn by the crisis, struggled with the record rate of unemployment, one such swindler took on the form of a devil. But a broken soul with nothing to lose is immune even to the King of Hell himself.
