The Legend of the Hummingbird

A fire breaks out in the Amazon rainforest, and frightened animals leave their habitat to take refuge on the other bank. Only a little hummingbird persists in fighting the fire when he spots a sloth and its young trapped in the flames.

Morgan Devos, born in Dunkirk in 1991, is a graduate of the Pivaut school. He usually works on projects as a layout designer for 2D animation studios based in Valence. He directed his first short film, The Legend of the Hummingbird, at Folimage, inspired by an ancient Amerindian legend carrying a powerful message of hope. The film aims to raise young audiences' awareness of the world's ecological problems.
