After directing music videos for several years for artists like Fishbach, We Have Band, Gims, Juveniles, Siboy or Las Aves, Rodrigue Huart self-financed and directed his first documentary Is It Punk Music? (2017), about two brothers escaping their British countryside to make punk music in London. Following that, Rodrigue directed other musical documentaries including Are You Still Here? (2018, Canal +), which tells the story of the French band Her's last tour, held after the untimely passing of co-founder Simon Carpentier. Since then, Rodrigue has been working on the development of several fiction projects, including a dark-edge thriller with the actor Karim Leklou. When it comes to fiction, Rodrigue likes it when it gets dark and tense. One can see this Trigger, his first short film, in which an ASMR twitch streamer gets into a strange and violent fight with… his computer. Rodrigue is currently preparing to shoot his second short film, Transylvanie, about a 10-year-old girl, living in a quiet little town, who’s convinced of being a vampire and behaves in the creepiest, sickest way to prove it to the world.
