Wild Child
In a near-future where earth has punished and killed all adults for not taking properly care of our planet, a young girl is faced with impending adulthood when she gets her period.
Sif Lina Lambæk (1993) graduated at the alternative filmschool Super16 in 2024 and has a background as a TV director. She has worked with both documentaries and fiction and her films often represents a mix of the real and authentic and the magical and surreal. Her work is characterized by a powerful visual language and fascinating universes. As a filmmaker, she is interested in everything that simmers beneath the surface and her characters often try to break free from what they have inherted. Her short film Wild Child (2024) won the Danish Academy Award, Robert for best short film and attended prestigious festivals such as San Sebastian International Film Festival, Nordisk Panorama, PÖFF and Les Césars.
