Distribution of Short Films in Germany

Distribution of short films in Germany and elements of curating, distributing and presenting short film programmes for children as an important part of cinema audience development. MO&FRIESE unterwegs/ on the move is a programme focused on children between 5 and 9. Every two years a new programme for kids is published with inclusive features as audio description and subtitles for the hearing impaired.

Anne Jagemann studied film studies and journalism at the Free University of Berlin and began working in the festival programme department at the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film in 2011. Since 2015 in the distribution department of the Short Film Agency Hamburg. Besides hosting the Kurzfilm Festival and Junges Kurzfilm Festival MO&FRIESE the Short Film Agency has been distributing short films to cinemas since 1992 as supporting films in over 100 German arthouse cinemas and short film programmes to international venues.
