Pick the Best European Short Film

Adéla will present a methodology PICK THE BEST EUROPEAN SHORT FILM, which offers teachers a practical and inspiring tool for developing audiovisual literacy in students aged 12–14, teaching them to think critically about audiovisual content and actively engage in its evaluation. The activity is based on watching selected European short films, analyzing them together, and discussing the film language, emotions, and themes that the films explore. The highlight of the program is the selection of the best of the films viewed, based on an independent democratic discussion among the students. Students thus learn to listen to others with respect, formulate and defend their own opinions, perceive the diversity of perspectives, and reflect on the power of audiovisual creation.
