Write Your Own Film Story

Robert will present the methodology WRITE YOUR OWN FILM STORY. This is a workshop designed for pupils and students aged 10 and up, which develops creativity, narrative thinking, and understanding of the basic elements of a film story. Pupils and students will learn how to turn an idea into a solid story concept – through working with characters, conflict, and setting – and will master the tool of the “hole sentence,” which helps structure the plot and express what the main character wants and what stands in their way. The presentation will focus on the practical implementation of the workshop, teaching aids, suitable integration into school lessons, and specific benefits for pupils and students—how the activity strengthens pupils' expression and argumentation skills, expands their vocabulary, and supports their independence and ability to reflect on their own creative process.
