Thierry Baujard | Spielfabrique | Video games in cinemas: an opportunity to reach active communities

Kino Games is a three-year project (2024–2026) supported by a Creative Europe grant, exploring the possibility of playing video games directly in cinemas in six European cities. Thierry Baujard will present the challenges and opportunities that this format brings, along with practical experiences and advice for cinemas that would like to get involved in the project.

Thierry Baujard is co-founder of Spielfabrique UG in Düsseldorf and Berlin, a video game catalyst Eco system.  He is an expert in financing teh creative industries with 25 years of experience in Audiovisual, Video games and Music.  He is the project Lead of Kino Games which is a 3 year program to explore video games sessions in cinema across Europe.  He is also the MD of Media deals UG, a pan European Investment Network for digital content. He holds an MBA from Bocconi (Italy) and UCLA (USA).
